As part of the eventual Aero center at Harvey Mudd, I constructed a multi-screen high performance PC flight simulator with full yoke/stick and pedal controls. It let's me practice when I'm not actually in the air in a sailplane or Cessna. It's also a great launching point for others to start to earn their wings, as we are designing a course that will merge actual flight time lessons with the simulator.
